Looking through my computer recently, I found some great high-quality photos from a few years back. One, in particular, stood out: a massive T-Rex from a traveling dinosaur exhibit that set up right behind my house during the COVID-19 lockdowns. It was a strange time for all of us, but it served as a great reminder of why I love living and working here in the Leander and Cedar Park area.
As the owner of Russell Electric, I’ve seen this community grow and change, but one thing remains the same: neighbors want to do business with neighbors. Seeing that exhibit over my back fence reminded me that I’m not just a service provider—I’m a part of this community. When you call me for an electrical issue, you aren’t getting a giant corporate dispatch center from three cities away; you’re getting a local Master Electrician who probably lives just a few minutes from your front door.
Modern Power for Modern Neighborhoods Just like those dinosaurs, old electrical panels and outdated wiring eventually become "fossils." With more of us working from home and driving EVs, our home electrical systems are under more stress than ever before. Whether you are dealing with:
Flickering lights or tripping breakers
Installing new EV charging stations
Upgrading your "prehistoric" electrical panel
Ensuring your backyard lighting is safe for the season
